Welcome

The International Conference on Recent Progresses in Science, Engineering and Technology (ICRPSET-2022) will be held from December 26~27, 2022 at the University of Rajshahi in Bangladesh. This conference is a sequel of our first conference ICMEIE-2015. From that year, the conference is being organized every year by the faculty of Engineering, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. This is the 7th episode of ICRPSET conference which is going to take place. The conference will gather world-class scientists, engineers, educators, researchers, and students from all over the world to meet and present their latest activities to exchange their scientific ideas, views, and thoughts with fellow researchers and participants. The main theme of this conference is interaction and Collaboration.

Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore; subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. Papers outside the scope of IEEE will be published in the conference proceedings only. Authors of selected high-quality papers from the conference will be invited to submit the extended version of their original papers for publication in the special issue of the Rajshahi University Journal of Science and Engineering. Faculty of Engineering, University of Rajshahi

Faculty of Engineering, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh is established in 2010 with the aim to build skilled manpower for the development of the nation, as well as for the development of science and technology through academic research and development. The faculty is committed to be an integral part of the vision 2021 of the government.

To meet the increasing demand in the respective fields, the faculty of Engineering was founded on March 2010, and now is comprised of Five (05) departments:

Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (Established in 1967),
Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Established in 1993),
Department of Information and Communication Engineering (Established in 2000),
Department of Materials Science and Engineering (Established in 2002) and
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Established in 2015)

Engineering education and research cannot be separated. For the development of science and technology in global perspective we are trying to establish industry oriented research labs where students will be able to put their knowledge to practice with innovations in critical areas of science and technology. The Faculty has over 100 academic staffs (including 35 Professors) and over 70 technical, administrative and supporting staffs. Although each department has its own distinct identity, there are some major interdisciplinary research activities in various fields. Researches are conducted in the member departments of the Faculty, and there are research collaborations throughout the world making it an exciting environment for both research and teaching-learning activities. We also intend to extend our joint research activities with foreign universities of the world. The faculty publish journal entitled: University of Rajshahi Studies: Journal of Science and Engineering. It aims at promoting entrepreneurship, leadership and research aptitude among the students to contribute to the economic well being and technological developments of the country.

Dr. Fatema Rashid Best Paper Award

Dr. Fatema Rashid Best Paper Awards will be given to two best papers based on recommendation of the ICRPSET-2022 Technical Program Committee. Only the papers presented in the ICRPSET-2022 will be considered for the awards. Each award contains prize money of BDT 7,000 and a certificate.
